The Prairie Star Ranch provides 291 acres for individuals and youth to blend the teachings of Christ with outdoor fun. From it’s humble beginnings in 2000, the Ranch and The Archdiocese of Kansas City Kansas have hosted hundreds of campers and corporate events, while simultaneously sharing the gospel. Due to the outpour of support and success, the camp has seen renovations throughout the years. Most recently WNB and our team worked on the much-needed Kapaun Priest House.

As architects, we know the difference our buildings can make on our moods, our thoughts and our interactions with others. Whether it be a place of worship or a peaceful dwelling, a well designed space can enhance one’s comfort and refresh the individual for the day. We believe the ministering priests at the newly opened Kapaun Priest House at Prairie Star Ranch would agree. With a tight budget and aggressive schedule, The Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas and Prairie Star Ranch formed a team that not only focused in on the dollars and time, but created a space of rejuvenation.
